Liability Driven Investing

BHMS' LDI solution offers institutional investors with long duration liabilities an investment strategy for effective liability matching in the fixed income market. The BHMS LDI strategy provides plan sponsors with an effective, yet conservative strategy, using "cash bonds" to hedge interest-rate risk in defined benefit plans, thus avoiding the assumption of the additional risks associated with the use of futures, options, and other derivative-based strategies.

With more than 20 years of experience, the BHMS fixed income group has one of the longest track records of active management in the long duration segment of the market. We offer the following long duration strategies: Long Credit, Long Government/Credit, and Extended Duration Fixed Income.
