Mr. Unterbrink joined Barrow Hanley in 2022 and is a Structuring Portfolio Manager and Analyst on the Firm’s Fixed Income strategies, focusing on CLO structuring and management. He previously served as a partner and co-head of credit at Carlson Capital where he was responsible for CLO business development, structuring, analysis and negotiation of CLO documentation, portfolio risk and compliance, operations, investor relations and marketing. Mr. Unterbrink was instrumental in raising over $3.25 billion of CLO assets and served on the firm’s Operating Committee and CLO Investment Committee. Prior to Carlson, he held positions at WhiteHorse Capital, Corriente Advisors and Deloitte. Mr. Unterbrink earned MS and BBA degrees in Accounting as well as a Certificate in International Business from Texas A&M University. He is a licensed CPA in the state of Texas.
