Mr. Pelzel joined Barrow Hanley in 2010. During his investment career, he served as a senior portfolio analyst at Highland Capital Management, LP and as a financial analyst at Houlihan, Lokey, Howard & Zukin, Inc. Mr. Pelzel graduated from Texas A&M University, where he earned his BBA in Finance, magna cum laude.
