Mr. Hirai joined Barrow Hanley in 2019. He previously served as SVP and manager of the First Hawaiian Bank Institutional Advisory Services Division, president and CIO at Bishop Street Capital Management, partner and portfolio manager at CIC/HCM Asset Management, and as an auditor and consultant with Ernst & Young and KPMG. Mr. Hirai earned an MBA from the University of Southern California and a BBA from the University of Hawaii at Manoa. He serves as a trustee and investment committee chair of the University of Hawaii Foundation, is a member of the AICPA and HSCPA, and is a past president and director of CFA Society Hawaii.
